Cold spell in Florida

A hard freeze is evident in this photo taken of ice that formed in a 5-gallon rainwater bucket off Cardinal Street in Homosassa, Florida.
The ice is about 1 inch thick, with an odd freeze formation that plunged further down into the bucket on the right-hand side of the photo.
This photo was taken at 10 a.m., when the ice had melted enough to lift the ice from the bucket.
Overnight tempertures in this area of Florida, 70 miles northwest of Tampa, dipped to 16 degrees.
For the record, the good news about Florida freezes is that there aren't many of them, and they don't last long.
