The underlying program that runs this web site has been updated today.

Sorry it has been so long since I last posted, but I also have about 15 other sites, several of which are daily endeavors.

I do have a couple of things I will post here in the next few days. Meanwhile, if you want to register and post something, and elevate your status from lurker to member, you can post your own family's stuff here.

Otherwise, you'll have to wait.

The Family Blog has been moved to a new, more secure, server, and is now available 24 hours a day.

This will provide more complete access for both members of the Douglas Family Tree, as well as other families that might want to join the site.

The site now has a more uniform menu structure, and everything that used to be on the front page can now be found in the menu structure under the appropriate category. Many of the items in the top menu now expand when clicked.

We did this so the site didn't just ramble on and on. The site was (metaphorically speaking) much like a file cabinet whose contents had been spilled all over the floor. Well, we picked up those "folders", put them in order, and properly filed everything back in the file cabinet.

We plan to add other functionality in the coming weeks.

Yes, many of the articles on the site are a little dusty, but we're working to change that.
