CRYSTAL RIVER, FLA. - A Crystal River man is in jail after allegedly attempting to intimidate Citrus County Sheriff’s Office deputies with a rottweiler dog on Friday night while they were in the middle of a traffic stop.
The man, Cordell L. Griffin, 29, of 816 N.E. First Terrace, Crystal River, wasn’t even involved in the traffic stop, according to the arrest report.
The deputies spotted Griffin as he walked quickly toward them holding a leash connected to a full-grown black rottweiler. The arrest report said Griffin had “an aggressive demeanor”, and shouted “watch him” to the rottweiler as he took up a position directly across the roadway from one of the deputies. The deputy told Griffin to stop, and that he was keeping him from completing the traffic stop. Griffin is said to have laughed, and then walked away.

Kevin and Jill Heinz were left stranded after they committed the unpardonable crime of appearing on NBC as well as ABC. "We've been kicked out of our room," Kevin told Page Six yesterday from the lobby of the Millennium Hotel. "New York is cut-throat. That's what we've learned."

Fort Myers Beach town council voted 5-0 to fire Scott Janke "without cause" after Mayor Larry Kiker called the Tuesday night meeting.
Kiker said he learned that afternoon that Janke's wife is an adult film star, and the elected officials took the action a few hours later.
"At no time did we make a judgment call on the activities of Mr. Janke or his wife," Kiker told The Associated Press. "It's a matter of how effective he becomes after this situation. How much disruption there is."
Adult Industry News recently reported that Janke's wife, Anabela Mota Janke, goes by the stage name Jazella Moore.
